Soil to Soul! Is it worth it?

Last year we launched our events series: From Soil to Soul.

Not only talking about the importance to keep our soils and souls healthy, to understand the connection between the two also about the role of food in both of these, soul and soil are intrinsically linked.

The 20th of May saw our second in the series at Willy’s ACV HQ, a beautiful mother farm with a 300 year old organic apply orchard from which William and his team produce amazing organic apple cider vinegars and other related products.

An inspiring group founders, innovators and change makers gathered, all who work in making our food systems more sustainable, more biodiversity, healthier and more delicious. When pushing boundaries its important to come together with others, share stories and push each other forward especially when times are difficult or when we might disagree.

William’s team came with the great leading question for the day of:

Is it worth it?

As William said in his closing words: “The journey isn't always easy, but the impact is undeniable.” My personal feeling is that everyone left refreshed, motivated and with the knowledge that the movement is growing and that is personal inter actions with a small group of committed individuals is very important.

Many people are doing amazing work and nature has all the answers and guides us. In those difficult moments when we think is it worth it? It of key importance to connect with those who have their hearts open and work hard to change the many layers of our food system.

When you ask yourself: Is it worth it? Ask yourself what would happen if we didn’t… You know the answer. My personal mantra always is when I set big and audacious goals is that I’ll make it happen. Even if I don’t know how!
