Fuelling Champions, Feeding the Future.
At Ample, we are on a mission to transform the UK sports industry into a catalyst for climate action and public health. We are pioneering the Circular Stadium Initiative, and we are looking for forward-thinking sports clubs and governing bodies to join our expanding coalition.
Together, we can prove that high-performance nutrition and environmental stewardship are not just compatible, but mutually reinforcing.

What is the "Farm-to-Fan" Loop?
The core of our approach is the "Farm-to-Fan" loop, a circular supply chain designed to rescue farm-gate surplus and use it to fuel elite athletes and their communities. The system operates on three key pillars:
Rescue: We redirect 1.1 million tonnes of nutritious farm surplus that supermarkets typically reject directly into stadium supply chains. This helps monetise the 7.2% of harvest that is currently wasted.
Refine: In collaboration with the National Alternative Protein Innovation Centre (NAPIC), we convert this surplus into micronutrient-dense, elite-level meals. By utilising plant-based and alternative proteins, we match traditional animal protein recovery standards.
Ripple: Professional athletes eat these meals, normalising "Green Menus" and breaking the plant-based stigma. This public-facing campaign inspires fans to "Eat Like a Pro," creating a powerful shift in consumer behaviour.
Why Your Club Should Get Involved
By turning your sporting hub into a beacon of sustainability, you gain a distinct competitive edge while delivering massive community value:
Elite Performance: Your athletes will benefit from cutting-edge recovery nutrition backed by NAPIC's protein science expertise.
Meet Climate Mandates: Joining the initiative provides a clear pathway to meeting Sport England's "Every Move" climate mandates.
Brand Leadership: Position your club as a community leader in climate resilience, leveraging the cultural power of your badge to drive climate action.
Drive Systemic Impact: Your participation helps slash 250,000 tonnes of CO2e annually.
Boost the Local Economy: You will be directly contributing to unlocking £195 million in extra revenue for UK farmers by 2030.
Tackle Public Health: By engaging your fanbase, your club will take direct action against the £12.6 bn obesity crisis.
Become a Pioneer in Sustainable Sport
We are currently building capacity for our Phase 1 pilot in the Yorkshire and Humber region, discussing this with Premier League Football Clubs , Super League Clubs & The Rugby Football League (RFL), Sport England, and the Yorkshire & Humber Climate Commission. However, our ultimate goal is to build a blueprint that scales to every sports club in the country.
Whether you are located in Yorkshire and Humber or elsewhere in the UK, we want to hear from you.
Contact Ample today to learn how your organisation can integrate the Farm-to-Fan loop and redefine what it means to fuel a champion.
