Unlike other solutions that address waste downstream, such as redistributing retail surplus or handling restaurant leftovers, Ample operates at the farm gate. We empower farmers to sell their surplus produce commercially, turning losses into new revenue.

Ample gives growers direct control over their food prices. This contrasts with traditional wholesale where farmers lack access to buyers of 'imperfect' produce, and often resort to discarding. Our platform streamlines invoicing and payments, allowing farmers to focus on their core business.

In collaboration with Hull University and transport operators, we are deploying AI to solve the complex logistical challenges of perishable goods. In future Ample will support dynamic routing to optimise truck space, reduce costs and cut carbon emissions.

Ample Kitchen - delicious and nutritious 

Moving beyond selling fresh produce, in our new Ample “Kitchen" we utilise surplus food to cook high-quality soups, sauces and stews for caterers in schools and the NHS. This exemplifies the potential of food surplus, maximising circularity in a sustainable way.
